5/19/2011 - LJ "Be an example of God"

Scripture:
2 Thessalonians 3:14 "If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame."

Observation:
How often, do I wake up in the morning with the joy of going to work? I would say rarely. But when I am at work, I do honest and work efficiently, and look into best interest of the company. How often, do I get excited about God? Probably just as same as going to work. Yet, I know he is in presences, and his grace and blessing are all around, yet I don't work hard enough to maintain that intimate relationship. I guess I am looking the easy way of getting closer to heaven. Not by cheating but trying to take the easy steps. But we all know there are no easy path, nor A or B path is any easier than others. Each path has much discipline, and work that need to be accomplished to get onto next step. Though salvation was given, now it is time to sweat some to repay my debt. This also fall along by long struggle with my aunts and uncles and their daughter. They are all looking to easy way of gaining wealth, even if that means hurting and destroying a family. Yet, they put on this persona that they are faithful Christians who work extremely hard. But as it is said, easy path does not lead to bliss, God will shine a darkness and shame on them. This is lesson for my family and I to not dwell on the past and pain, but move on and work even harder for God's grace is always in us and working to mold us into better and faithful servant.

Application:
Do not be hinder about God's presence and his work of grace. Be blessed and joyful daily and share the joy and blessing with others. Do not be afraid to share, if people have close heart, don't want to listen all I can do is pray for them. Share the good new of his existences and his love for us. Do not be timid Christians but out spoken Christian yet put an example of good faith to others.

Prayer:
Father, awesome Father God, thank you for my salvation, and my blessing you give daily. Father I am lazy being, who looks the other way at times and look for easy pass to your kingdom. Father God, forgive my soul for such, and help to stir and bring me to be hard worker. Hard worker who will put out the output that bring joy and glory to your name. Father God, you have shown so much to my family and I, your grace, love, healing and blessing to name few. We are so grateful, yet we take many for granted, Father give us the realization of our blessing and to have each other amongst your grace. Father thank you for the time of healing and forgiving our self and those we have done bad things to us. God, you continue to mold our hearts and Father give us the passion in our heart the deep fire of desire to out spoken Christian, to open and share your grace and love to others. Let our actions set a great example of faithful servant which you can be proud of. Father I know you will punish those who are hypocrites. Forgive my and my families hypocrisy. Let your love empower our doubts and timidness. Father you are magnificent, and wonderful God, I thank you for every minute you give me and every spec of love you shower me with. I pray I may bring some glory in your kingdom for my actions, Father I love you, and love you. In your name amen.
